In a cozy field, under a big sunflower, lived a little mouse named Tim. He had a tiny house made of grass and a whole store of sweet seeds. But Tim was very lonely. He dreamed of having a friend.
One day he heard a soft crying sound. It was a little Bee named Buzz. She was tangled in a spider's web and couldn't fly away.
"Don't cry!" said Tim and carefully helped her get free.
"Thank you!" buzzed Buzz. "You saved me! How can I thank you?"
"Be my friend," Tim suggested shyly.
"Of course!" Buzz was delighted.
They played happily all day. Buzz showed Tim how the flowers dance in the wind. And Tim treated her to his most delicious seed. In the evening, Buzz flew back to her hive, and the little mouse felt sad again.
The next day, Buzz returned not alone. With her came her bee friends, and each carried a tiny drop of honey. They arranged a real sweet picnic for Tim!
And then a little bunny named Puff, who had been listening behind a bush, hopped over. He brought a juicy carrot to share.
"I want to be your friend, too!" said Puff.
Now, under the big sunflower, it's never quiet or sad. Tim, Buzz, and Puff play together every day. Tim learned that to find a friend, you just need to be kind and open your heart. And the best treasure is not a pile of seeds, but a heart full of friendship.
